Umm, french fries on a diet? YES PLEASE. No grease, no oils (optional). Just perfectly "fried" sweet potatoes that will make you kick your old "dieting" mindset to the curb!
STEP 1:
Chop ends off sweet potatoes, and cut into long, thin chunks. I prefer my french fries a little thicker, similar to a Jo Jo fry, however this is all personal preference. Keep in mind that the thicker fries will take a bit longer to cook. Ensure that all your fries are approximately the same thickness to ensure even cooking times.
STEP 2:
Toss sweet potatoes into air fryer, and coat with 1 Tbsp olive oil (optional). Add seasonings of choice* and coat evenly.
*My seasonings of choice were garlic salt and an all-seasoning. You can, of course, choose low-sodium options here, as well as exclude the oil if you are on a caloric "budget."
STEP 3:
Set air fryer to 'fries' setting, and let the air fryer work its magic! Turn fries half way through to ensure fries are cooked evenly.
STEP 4:
Pair with your Air Fryer Chicken Strips (recipe on blog) and Bolthouse Farms honey mustard, and enjoy!
